April 23, 2025: Our group organized and hosted a talent show at St. Leonard Retirement Home, bringing the senior residents an afternoon filled with enjoyable music and entertainment. From singing and dancing to instrumental performances, everyone shared their talents to create a fun, uplifting atmosphere.
December 11, 2024: Our group came together to make holiday and get well cards for local homeless shelters and children’s hospitals. We decorated each card with cheerful messages, colorful designs, and kind words to help brighten someone’s day.
October 25, 2024: We volunteered for the Stoddard Avenue Pumpkin Glow by tracing and carving more than 50 unique designs of Jack-O-Lanterns. Over 30 members joined this group volunteering activity, which benefited the popular annual event and also provided our multicultural youth an opportunity to experience this unique fall tradition.
September 1, 2024: Our group hosted an ESL Social, bringing together local immigrant families and community volunteers for an afternoon of games, food, and music. The event created a welcoming space for newcomers to practice English, make new friends, and celebrate cultural diversity.
April 17 2024: Our group spent the day at Wegerzyn MetroPark working together to help keep the park beautiful. We cleaned up the flowerbeds by pulling weeds, trimming plants, clearing away debris and spreading mulch.
January 21 2024: St. Vincent de Paul Lunch Bags- Our team successfully packed 129 lunch bags for homeless residents of St. Vincent de Paul homeless shelter. The purpose of these lunch bags is to provide meals for residents to use during workdays.
December 2023: Cookie Sale Fundraiser - We sold and delivered cookies all around the Dayton area. Throughout the sale, we had raised over $300 to fund future projects, especially the lunch bag project. The cookies came out delicious and the project was a great success!

September 18 2023: Clean Sweep of the Great Miami River - We worked on removing trash and restoring the health and beauty of the areas around the river. Our group has grown! There were 20+ members who joined the cleaning efforts and we cleaned out over 15 bags of trash.
18 September 2022: Clean Sweep of the Great Miami River - We worked on removing trash and restoring the health and beauty of the areas around the river. We enjoyed the outdoors, learned the importance of keeping our natural resources clean and made friends as we worked together as a group.
18 June 2022: We visited the St. Leonard Retirement Community and planned an arts & crafts session with the senior residents. We painted garden decorations and brought an afternoon of fun and conversation for the seniors.
26 May 2022: With the proceeds from our flower sale fundraiser, we donated $250 to Dayton Humane Society animal shelter and also made hundreds of dog toys from recycled materials.
7 May 2022: Our Happiness in Bloom plant and flower sale was a success! We were able to raise over $500 to support our future service activities.
10 April 2022: We potted seedlings in preparation for our 2022 Happiness in Bloom flower sale fundraiser.
31 July 2021: Culture Crossing India - There is a lot more to India than wonderful food. We learned Indian languages, customs, holidays and traditions through fun interactive games.
15 May 2021: Online Game Night - We had a great turn out! The games were a lot of fun.
